GoNoGo

Privacy Policy

GoNoGo does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information, browsing history, or usage data. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no external server that GoNoGo sends anything to.

All processing happens locally in your browser. GoNoGo reads text (or, on a few sites, structured data already embedded in the page) on the hotel listing pages you visit on supported sites (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Ryanair Hotels, Agoda, TripAdvisor, Priceline, Trip.com, Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Radisson, Choice Hotels, Accor, Wyndham, and Best Western), and on the search-results pages of those sites except Trip.com and Best Western, to determine pet and smoking policies, and displays that back to you directly on the page. On some search-results pages, if you choose to run a check, GoNoGo loads a small preview of the same search — using the site's own pet-filter option — purely to compare which listings are pet-friendly; that request goes straight to the hotel site itself. Other sites are read directly from the page with no extra request at all. Either way, nothing is sent to GoNoGo or to any third party.

GoNoGo requests the activeTab permission, which lets it read the page you're currently viewing when you interact with the extension. It does not request access to your browsing history, other open tabs, or any site you haven't navigated to yourself. It has no background process and makes no network requests beyond the same-origin page loads described above.

GoNoGo also requests the storage permission, used for exactly one thing: an on/off preference and a number, for a separate feature on TripAdvisor review pages that flags 5-star reviews from reviewers with few past contributions (unrelated to pet policy — see the FAQ). That preference is stored via your own browser's built-in sync, not sent to GoNoGo or any third party — no page content, browsing history, or personal data is ever written to it.
